How this converter works
Upload in this tab
Choose a PNG or JPG, or drop it on the box. The file is read locally. We do not receive the image. A preview appears as soon as the browser decodes it.
Pick sizes, then download
Check 16, 32, 48, 96, 180, 192, 512, and 2048, or type a custom size from 1 to 2048. Download one PNG at a time or a zip of every listed size. That zip is only those PNGs (favicon-16x16.png, and so on). It does not include favicon.svg or favicon.ico—those come from the homepage editor.
Do not upscale a small PNG
PNG and JPG are pixels. Enlarging invents pixels the file never had, so 32×32 stretched to 512 looks muddy. The warning above fires when a selected size is bigger than your original. For a 512 icon, start with 512 or larger. If you only have a small raster logo, export sizes at or below that width. For a sharp large icon, use SVG to PNG or the text editor instead.
When this page is the right tool
You already have a bitmap logo
Use this when the mark exists as PNG or JPG and you need square sizes for tabs, bookmarks, and a manifest. The homepage editor is for text and emoji, not for tracing an existing logo.
One source, several squares
Browsers still request several widths. Checking the sizes you need and downloading the zip avoids resizing by hand in an image editor. Skip 2048 unless you also need a store or print asset; tabs never show that many pixels.
Stays on your computer
Resize and zip run in the browser. Close the tab and the upload is gone. That is the same model as the homepage editor.
